We are the ladies of Harvest Baptist Church in Petersburg, Virginia.  Our church is a member of the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia. We have been meeting in an Econo-Lodge Conference Room since the summer of 2005 and have now bought land off of I-95 in Sussex County, Virginia. The building process is now beginning.  God is truly blessing us.  Come join the excitement!

 We will soon add pictures of all of us participating in our projects and of the church property.  The men of our church have been working on cleaning up the road frontage so I should be able to get some good pictures.

Ladies Meetings

Our regular meetings are held at least once every other month. Often they are held in our homes or a special activity is planned.  We enjoy a time of fellowship, bible study and prayer.  We look forward to having you join us. 

 
Ladies Prayer Ministry

Sometimes women have a prayer need that they may not feel comfortable sharing “with everyone” but they would like other sisters in Christ praying with them.  We have a group of Prayer Sisters for just that purpose.  We develop special relationships where we can grow in our walk with the Lord together.

You may email your prayer request at any time to the address below.  If you feel comfortable doing so, please share contact information with us so we can follow up with you, but you are not required to do so.

Maturing In Our Faith

We are currently studying He Speaks To Me: Preparing To Hear From God by Priscilla Shirer. She shares with women how we can better position ourselves to hear from God.   Our next meeting is on January 17, 2009 at 10:00am in the Carlson home. We will have a special treat!!
